Paris – Day One
July 17, 2009 at 6:56 pm | In Photography | 40 CommentsWe interrupt your regularly scheduled blogging to bring you a brief photo journal of my adventures In Paris, France! I’ll be uploading the day’s sights each night, so you can see what I’ve seen (and probably eaten) almost as soon as it happens. Don’t worry, this will be for less than a week, and then there be recipes, crafts, and reviews galore just like usual again.

It’s been over a year since my last real getaway, so I couldn’t be more thrilled to have dropped anchor in France even for this very short period of time. Instead of leaving the blog dead silent in my absence, however, I thought it might be fun to post photos from the previous day until I return home. Enjoy the ride- I know I will!
Unless urgent, emails will be put on hold for the duration of this trip, but will be answered as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!
This first day was a short, exhausting, and somewhat hectic, albeit completely enjoyable one, so I don’t have so many photos to share… But from here on in, expect to see much, much more.

Paris is amazing! If you have the chance, go to “a Victoire Supreme du Coeur”. It was so good when I went to this restaurant, I just don’t know how it is now (you can tell me)!

oh you’re in Paris, it’s great!
I could make you a guided tour and take you in a restaurant vegan :)
Of course, Paris is different from where you live, there is nothing to eat here is sad!
Without making the pub, you should look on http://www.vg-zone.net, there are the addresses of vegetarian restaurant and shops where you can buy vegan :)

France is where my heart is. NO JOKE!! I’m so glad you’re there! Isn’t it wonderful!
I was there for New Years this year! haha! I’m planning just to lie down and die in the streets of Paris… but if that doesn’t work I’ll just live there!
HAVE FUN!
Your photos are amazing!
Oh and share in your vegan finds!

Ice cream! Where on earth did you find vegan ice cream in Paris?! I’d love to know for my next trip back. Thanks! And enjoy!

Hooray! I’m so happy for you to be visiting Paris.
If you have time, I highly suggest going to Ile St. Louis near Notre Dame. There are some cute little shops there. There is one boutique in particular that sells that most beautiful world scarves and jewelry. It will be easy to find.
If you like tea, Mariage Brothers is amazing.
I look forward to reading more! Safe travels, Hannah.

Hi!
Just to tell you that on July 18th 2009 Paris’ first and only vegan b&b with open to the public dinners and brunches opened. We open our cooking classes in December and hope to invite a maximum of cookbook authors to share in on the fun!
Next time you are in Paris – come try some vegan croissant!
